How long do they live?

Adults can live from 1-2 years.


Can they climb?

Dubia's cannot climb if they are kept in an enclosure that
has a smooth surface such as a plastic or glass.


Can they fly?

The males have wings, but they cannot fly. 
The only thing you may see them do is flutter. 

Do they bite?

They do not bite, but the adults have these little barbs
on their legs and they can poke you!


Do they smell?

Not like crickets do. As long as you keep their enclosure
clean there won’t be any smell.


Are they better for my reptile than crickets?

Yes, they have more nutritional content than a cricket.
They have double the protein and more calcium.
